When I joined Vocus, the digital communications were spread across outdated systems with no cohesive strategy. The business had grown into an innovative tech player but its brand wasn't keeping up. Talent couldn't see them online. Employees couldn't feel them internally. The story of who Vocus actually was wasn't being told anywhere.

Built and owned the strategy to fix it. Modernised three social platforms with new content pillars grounded in EVP storytelling. Rebuilt the careers experience around real employee voices. Transformed the internal hub used by 1,500 people every day. Led content production end to end across video, photography and editorial. Coached the comms team in storytelling and capability so the work could keep moving without me.

Social media revival

Audited the platforms and decommissioned what wasn't working. Rebuilt Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube around content pillars that connected company strategy to the people doing the work. Three new content series supported the EVP build and grew an online community that genuinely engaged.

Intranet refresh

Took a cluttered legacy Confluence wiki and turned it into an intuitive knowledge hub for 1,500 people. New page builder, dedicated business unit landing pages, voiceover training videos and a self-service model that scales with the business. Designed so people could actually find what they needed.

Careers page modernisation

Overhauled the careers experience using UX best practices. Pivoted from text-heavy pages to visual storytelling grounded in genuine employee voices. Currently rolling out, with new imagery coming as work goes live.
